What is the maximum time it takes to dissolve gallstones with medicine.. I have a 3mm stone.. the only symptom o have is severe upper abdomen pain for half hour and then it goes off

Hello. It takes a long time from 1-2yrs and that too is usually not guaranteed. And even if it dissolves, chances of recurrence is very high. Therefore, the only permanent cure is to remove gallbladder through surgery
