In most of the good hospitals Laparoscopic Surgery is done under General Anaesthesia. The surgery will take about 20 minutes but you will have some effects of anaesthesia for about 2 hours.
You can feed your baby just before you are wheeled into the Theatre . You will be out of Theatre after about 2 hours . I suppose you will be allowed to sit by the time you reach your ward and feed the baby.
So it is going to be 3 hours gap between two feeds.
