Greetings! Gall Stones with classical symptoms of stone obstruction or inflammation or infection needs surgery no matter the size of stone. If no such symptoms, size >1.5cm or associated lesions needs surgery. This stone size doesn’t need surgery if there is no associated symptoms! For any more clarifications kindly contact me Thank you!

If its asymptomatic then there is no need of surgery at present but anyhow in future u need to go for surgery.
