Funnelling at internal
I'm 25 weeks pregnant. I had pain in the pubic bone mainly while moving leg to change posture while sleeping and moving leg wider. I went to my gynaecologist who then checked my cervix. Length of the cervix was 3.9cm but there was funnelling at internal. So the doctor gave me poluton depot injection (once a week for 4 weeks), susten 200 vaginal insert( for two weeks) and duvadilan 10mg (1-0-1 for a month). Doctor took an ultrasound the following day that showed no funnelling and cervix is closed. I want to know why this happened? Is all ok? Should I continue the medication? Are these medicines safe for the baby in the womb? Please give me your valuable comments doctors. Thank you.

The question is not the safety of the medicines but it is that funnelling  can lead to preterm  labour and delivering at 25 weeks you will you lose the baby Every medicine has side effect So this many medication may have minor side effects That is not important Important is to prevent a Preterm labour
