Fungus on Head resistant to Terbinafine
Infection on the back of my head was resistant and grew despite 2 weeks of antibiotics. Different doctor diagnosed it as a fungal infection and prescribed a 6 week course of Terbinafine Oral tablets. After the 6 weeks, the fungus is unresponsive and has continued to spread/puss/scab. Could this be Candida Auris the recent outbreak?? Not sure what to do.
