Fungal infection
I have 1 toe nail with a slight fungal infection. I've tried nail clear and listerine mouth wash. What do you recommend?

Antifungal tablets are required. And also 6 months treatment as nail growth is slow. Please send photos using online consult option for proper examination diagnosis and treatment.

Thanks for the query. Fungal infection is becoming an increasing problem due to rampant usage of antifungals. Please see a dermatologist as some extra medications are coprescribed many a times to treat. If needed a simple skin test can also be done. Till then use only OTC anti-allergic medications to control itching. Personal hygiene should be good. Wear loose fitting clothes.
Next Steps
Nail fungus requires 12 weeks of treatment under the supervision of a qualified Dermatologist.
