My Dad is suffering from frequent urination problem, we got the sonography done, post that we were advised to get PCA done and then Biopsy. I want to understand is this a symptoms of Prostate Cancer?.

It may be due benign prostatic hyperplasia which is not a cancer it is enlargement of prostate causing obstruction of urine tube which passes through it...it may be due to urinary tract infection as well...Drink plenty of water. Water helps to dilute your urine and flush out bacteria....Avoid drinks that may irritate your bladder.... Avoid coffee, alcohol, and soft drinks containing citrus juices or caffeine until your infection has cleared...get the prescribed investigation done and consult your doctor they will do the needful.
