Frequent urination with cramps

Asked for Female, 22 Years

My period started but only for one day then it stopped immediately following symptoms like Frequent urination abdominal cramps yellow foul discharge immediately started showing up. Did an infection stop or over ride my period? Hence the reason I'm still having period symptoms but no blood?
