Dear Practo User, Fever is not a disease but a symptom of an underlying cause which needs to be identified & treated properly. The body tries to fight the infection by raising the temperature. The infection may be bacterial or viral. Or there may be an auto-immune disease giving some indication. Please elaborate on what you feel in addition to fever for more appropriate advice. Dolo 650 is paracetamol which is good for suppressing the fever for 6-8 hours & if it still persists, then wait for two more days to see weather your immunity in your body is able to tackle that infection or not.
