Fremitus test for Common cold diagnosis
My female friend was suffering from common cold for nearly a week,therefore i went to see a PULMONOLOGIST he checked the mouth,ears and then he did fremitus on the chest,but he did not ask her to say 99 or bluemoon and he didnt ask her to cough either..Is fremitus test necessary for her and can it be done without the person uttering a word

For common cold tht test is of no use, by breath sounds auscultation itself he would have come to the diagnosis, dont worry about it.
