Scars always require combination of treatment.
There are various types of scars
Box scar, Ice pick , hypertrophic scar , or rolling scar
MNRF and Co2 alone or combined with PRP both work well for box and rolling
Hypertrophic scar require ablation with ILS
Ice pick SCar require TCA cross
Co2 laser has a long down time AS COMPARED TO MNRF
Also subcision is required prior to these to break the adhesion.
So all depends upon the type of scars you have
