Formula feeding problem
Hi my baby is 2.5 months old. He is totally on breastfeed but my family put pressure to feed him formula 2 times a days..he is colicky baby ..he dont take formula easily first of all he always reject but whenever he takes he always poops during formula feed but this does not happen during breastfeed..i even switched the formula but still he poops that is yellow loose stool..what to do? Should i continue feeding him formula or not?

Almost after every time of breast feeding if your baby is sleeping for 2-3 hrs on an average and passing urine around 6 times in a day and gaining there is no need for top feed as breast milk itself is sufficient. As you need to respect your family members opinion you can tell them above what ever we have said. Even after that if they are insisting along with then once consultant pediatrician near by... pressure may be come down after doctor counseling.

Hi. If your milk is sufficient and baby is gaining weight adequately nothing to worry, do not give formula.

Breast fed are best fed. No need to give artificial feed.
