Mom has Foot ankle pain since 1.5 years, walking problem, sudden pain on keeping foot on floor. Sometimes swallon may be due to some medication, so many medicines she has. Which specialist to meet for Foot pain we are confused? She has Gall Bladder  operated Thyroid High BP Diabetes.

foot pain in a 61 years old diabetic hypertensive lady may be due to osteoarthritis or gout and others. there are certain blood investigations which can be done to evaluate the cause of foot pain alongwith an Xray of foot and ankle. you can consult an orthopaedic doctor.

Since she got operated thyroid she may have reduced calcitonin in body because of parathyroid hormone . She need to take analgesics and supplements for her health .consult doctor or me as soon as possible. Diabetes can go for neurological pain ...consult immediately
