Hello,      You have mentioned that there is space ( gap) between your teeth and food gets lodged between teeth. I would like to suggest you to get a dental check up done to diagnose the issue because if the spacing is generalized ( between all teeth),then you may go for orthodontic correction.   If the spacing ( gap) is localised (in between two or 3 teeth alone) it could be due to interproximal caries( decay between two teeth). In this case, you can undergo conservative restoration .May not require endodontic treatment (RCT)as you don't experience pain or sensitivity. This has to be confirmed by a diagnostic X ray. The other reason for spacing between teeth ( localized or generalized) could be due to bone loss for which you may need periodontal intervention.
Next Steps
I would suggest you to visit a dentist for a thorough clinical examination as there are multiple reasons for the presenting problem and the proper cause has to be diagnosed and treated.
Health Tips
Continue using the interproximal brush. Pay a visit to the nearest dentist. Best regards
