Hi, In IBS one should follow a proper balanced diet with a proper meal timings. Fruit, vegetables are good source of vitamins, minerals and dietary fibre, specially an individual with IBS should include these in daily routine. Dietary fibre helps to maintain bowel movement. If it is not possible for you to include fruits everyday, then try to keep it for 4 days in week, but leafy vegetables, others vegetables and complex carbohydrates must be there. Avoid junk food or fast food because it will make situation worse. Drink atleast 3 litre water per day. Include exercise in regular basis which helps in gut mobility.
