Follow up query on ongoing treatment
Hi,
I used to take Thyronorm 100 for Hypothyroidism for the last few years. Recently my TSH levels dropped to 0.07. My iron level is at 39 mcg/dl.
On a Practo consultation a week ago, I was advised to take Thyrox 75 on empty stomach, Thyropace (2 months) and Orofer (1 month) after lunch and Beplex forte (1 month) after dinner.
I am passing dark stool for the last 3 days. Plz let me know if any of the medication needs to be altered.

What was the severity of anemia? Hemoglobin?
Iron supplements can cause dark stools.
