Follow up on dengue previous question
My kid had high fever and on day 3 I admitted her on hospital .she was diagnosed with dengue and immediately IV Fluids were started and her oral intake was also good. Her platelet count went down till 58 k on day 6 and on day 7 it increased to 70k. Her fluid intake is Good drinking Close to 2litres daily of juice and water. Her urine output is also good however her fever keeps fluctuating from 98 to 101.5 .is temperature fluctuation normal even at day 7? Is platelet increase alone is a good sign? The follow up platelet count will be taken tomorrow morning. There is no other infections in blood or urine that's what doctor said. Her haemoglobin level was 12.2 earlier at day 3 now 12.5 at day 7.
