Follicular study required or not
Hello i am trying to concieve since last 3 months. my doctor has prescribed me letroz from day 2 of cycle. on day 12, my follicle grows more than 20 mm as seen on follicular study and i have to get hucog 5000 injection. my query is that is it important to get follicular study every month or can i simply get a hucog injection on day 12? (as my previous cycles show that follicle grows more than 20 mm by day 12). pls guide.

Yes follicular monitoring is necessary in case of ovulation and induction  ... Every time situation will not be same

Ideally you should have Follicular study each month. However, if you have taken only Letroz, you can skip it for next 2-3 cycles and take Injections and try.

Each cycle growth of follicle changes so timing of injection.. Taking injection blindly will drastically decrese the success rate so if you don't want to do sonography don't take ovulation induction drugs and injection and try naturally... As doing follicular scan is mandatory part of fertility treatment
