Hello Dr ,
I'm a 24 year old unmarried girl, and has been prescribed biotin tablets for hair loss.
Pharmisict gave me tinfal tablets which has follic acid too.
I have fibroid in my left breast. Can I take follic acid tablets?

If you have less Hemoglobin or other medical reason you can have follic acid but you shuld be more concerned about fibroid which medical nutrition therapy can increase your hair as well.
Reason for Fibroids or PCOD are common

4. Lack of sleep

Frolic acid supplements may prevent development of cancer in normal tissue but may promote the progression of established neoplastic lesions. However whether or not folic acid supplements can promote the progression of established neoplastic mammary lesions is unknown. This is critically important issue because Brest cancer patients likely to owing to folic acid fortifications and widespread supplemental use after cancer diagnosis.
Wheather folic acid supplementation can promote the progression of established mammary tumour.
So , plz avoid folic acid supplements.
