Flaky skin and itching on the body

Asked for Female, 41 Years

My daughter was recently diagnosed with exfoliative chillitives on lips and now after three days of medication she is experiencing itching on her lower legs, arms and even hands She has dry skin and small bumps where it itches ... According to doctor, it's not a side effect of the prescribed medication Please help
