Fitsula for last 4 to 5 months. Please h
Suffering with fitsula for last 4 to 5 months . There is periodic drainage of pus from the opening near anal area.

Fistula in another has to be evaluated regarding the position and complexity of the tract. Treatment can be planned only after that. Most often we have to operate for that. Take care

[ ] Fistula is a abnormal track connecting your outer skin with inside your anal canal. This abnormal track need to be excised/ separated. This needs a Surgical treatment. And the Problem with this fistula is, because of contaminated area, recurrence is common (5- 10%). You should go for surgery after defining the fistula tract/ extension/ location by doing a Trans Rectal Ultrasound ( TRUS) and if required a MRI PELVIS.Feel free to ask any further quary.
