About 2 months ago, I had a small boil near the anal area. It drained on its own within 2–3 days, and I started doing sitz baths regularly. After that, I started experiencing slight pain after passing stool every day. I consulted a nearby doctor who did a finger examination and told me that a fistula tract has formed.
I have been continuing daily sitz baths and taking homeopathic medicines like Calcarea Sulph and Fistula BT49, but even after 2 months I haven’t noticed significant improvement. I want to know if there is any real chance of my fistula healing completely with these medicines, or if I should go to a private hospital and consider surgery.
I’m very confused because it’s already been 2 months, and I really want proper guidance. Also, I am a heart patient, so I’ve been trying to avoid surgery if possible.
Please give me some genuine, home-like advice. Your help will mean a lot to me.
Would you like me to make it sound a bit more formal (like for a specialist), or keep this

The first step I would suggest is to proceed with a MR fistulogram for a better and detailed understanding.
Post the MRI, if tract is present , then always the best option is to do surgery as early as possible.
Reasons that I would suggest for Surgery - a simple fistula now can be complicated eventually to a very complex fistula . Once it's complex the cure / recurrence rate differs significantly.
So when the fistula is simple , get it operated.
Whatever medication you take , it will take a miracle for your fistula to heal and not recur.
So definitely surgery as early as possible.
No home remedies.
Untill you so surgery, continue sitz bath promptly and keep yours stools soft. ( Plenty fibre diet and water, laxatives if necessary only)
If a tract has already formed, it will not heal on its own and will always require surgical intervention.
You should get an X-ray fistulogram done and consult a general surgeon preferably an anorectal specialist for surgical management.
