First aid for Bleeding
Hi doctor,
My 1 year old baby had a injury in finger and it was bleeding, we immediately took him to hospital and dressed...but we couldn't stop bleeding at home, we tried to put pressure, turmeric, ice...but i was panicked as baby was crying and bleeding was not stopping... what is the first aid we can do at home in case of such emergency? A fall or cut or bruise

If the bleeding is small, clean with soap and water. If there is bleeding apply firm pressure with a folded cloth for 10minutes and do not remove as it be increase the bleed.
Do not clean a large wound.
