Fingertip Avulsion
My fingertip got crushed between dumb bells at the gym, however the finger didn't got separated. I got 5 stitches and the finger nail got removed.Now, someone told me the nail couldn't grow back as normal.I am in too much of anxiety by this though???

Good afternoon.
If the nail bed has been damaged, the nail may grow deformed or not grow completely.
It will take about a month for the nail to grow so do not worry.
If the nail is not to your liking you can consider a nail transplant later
