Filiform Wart on tongue

Asked for Female, 43 Years

I have had a filiform wart in the tip of my tongue for several months. I have tried some home remedies. At one time there were also several that appeared under my tongue, but apple cider vinegar seemed to irritate the area enough and they disappeared. I'm too embarrassed to see a doctor. What can I do? I am a nurse, monogamous and married for 20 yr
