Filariasis
62/f,went to filariasis endemic area and contracted it from there, it has been 2 yrs and she didn't take any t/t.Now I want her to start t/t after taking test for filaria to confirm it, i'm medico.please advise any modifications in treatment below
1.DEC 1mg/kg D1 ,3 mg/kg/day in 3 divided doses D2, 6mg/kg/day in 3 divided doses from D3 to D12 Along with albendazole 400mg BD for 2 wks. Plus ivermectin 150micrograms/kg single dose.
