My wife is having 18x17 mm submucous fibroid in fundus region of uterus indenting over endometrium. She has suffered 4 consecutive miscarriages due to bleeding in between 6 to 12 weeks. Is this fibroid responsible for . Is it to be removed by surgery.

Yes submucosal fibroids have a tendency of causing recurrent abortions and pregnancy complications, removal of this submucosal fibroid through hysteroscopic approach can prove beneficial
