Hello
This age group loose stools is usually viral in nature, no antibiotics needed in general
Intact certain antibiotics have loose stools as side effects themselves
Continue exclusive breast feeding
Sporolac sachets 1/2 thrice daily
Syp zinc 20mg/5ml, give 2.5ml once daily for 14days
This should reduce the frequency of stools
If not reduced in 5 days consult nearest Pediatrician for further workup
Next Steps
Stop antibiotic and wait for 5 days
Health Tips
Maintain hygiene
