Fever since 7 days

Asked for Female, 29 Years

My wife is having fever since last 7 days. For initial 3 days, it was between 100 and 102 mostly. For last 3-4 days, though its between 98 to 100.5. The fever usually completely goes by evening 6 or 7 PM after taking Dolo. But comes back by next day 11/11.30 AM. Again after giving Dolo, it comes back to normal for whole day and night. And comes back again in the morning. Her CBC, Urine and Malaria tests are normal.

Hi, Fever for 7 days should be investigated in detail. You should get widal test and blood culture done. A detailed history regarding her treatment is important to advice her regarding further treatment. General advice would be to take plenty of oral fluids, Tab Paracetamol 500mg SOS in case of fever. She also need antibiotics.
