Fever relapse for 9 months baby

Asked for Female, 28 Years

My baby is having relapse fever since 2 days. I have given Calpol every 6 to 8 hrs 1ml for 8.9kg baby. When I give drops it would reduce but after 3 to 4 hrs fever would relapse and temperature vary between 99.8 to 102 sometimes. Please help me. I have consulted doc, he said to continue Calpol for 2 to 3 days and check. He don't have any cold or cough phlegm. Lungs are clear. Please help me.
