Fever recurs within 5 hrs

Asked for Male, 3 Years

My son is 2.5 years old, he is suffering from fever. He has been given a dose of 3 ml meftal p , but fever recurred within 5 hours. He showed no improvement with calpol. Is the dose of meftal p correct? His weight is around 11.5 kg. He also felt cold at some time in the day.

For fever give plain paracetamol. Dosage for his weight would be.. Plain calpol would be around 6.5 ml every 6 hourly. Give adequate dosages . If not subsiding give plain ibugesic half tsp max three times per day. Consult pediatric dentist for tooth pain and if he needs an antibiotic.
