Fever post a dental treatment
What is the difference between a paracetamol (Calpol 120 mg suspension) and an ibuprofen (ibugesic)? What is the gap in hours that has to be maintained? My child weighs 13.5kg what is the dosage for both? He is getting fever. I m not sure if it's viral fever or is it because my child underwent a dental treatment yesterday.

Hey paracetamol is antipyretic (help in getting fever down ) along with this it relived the pain as well Ibuprofen is a painkiller (stronger one ) and anti inflammatory ( prevent swelling ) Since you mentioned you child underwent some dental treatment a day before it is quite common to have some pain post treatment however if the pain persist visit the pedodontist and get a consult on the treatment .
