Fever occurred thrice in a month
My 2.11 month old boy has got fever thrice this month. Last fever session was very long of 8 days and 103 everytime. Given antibiotic last time. Why is this happening

Three episodes of fever each lasting 8 days in a 2year 11 month old child should be given importance. It is not a trivial condition. He requires investigations. To begin with CBP, ESR, CRP, Montoux test , CUE, Urine for culture & sensitivity , Blood culture. Start Paracetamol.
Specific treatment can be started after reports come in.
