Hello I understand your concern Fever is a sign that the body is fighting an infection. Most often in young children, this is due to viral infections, which usually settle in 4–5 days. However, sometimes fevers can persist longer due to other causes like: Viral illness that takes time to resolve A bacterial infection not covered by the current antibiotic Hidden focus of infection (like urine infection, ear infection, etc.) Less commonly, other causes like inflammatory or rare infections
Next Steps
To know if the antibiotic is really working better get a blood culture done To know other focus of infection urine routine may be required Continue the same medications and review with the above reports to the nearest Pediatrician
Health Tips
Red flags: Poor feeding Lethargy or excessive sleepiness Vomiting everything or dehydration Breathing difficulty/chest indrawing Seizures or reduced responsiveness

The CRP is raised. Hb is less and sgot borderline raised. This suggests some infection but a low Hb also decreases the immunity. It’s not a good idea to change antibiotic so soon. For now continue taxim o. Wait for its response for next 2-3 days. A simple paracetamol ( Crocin) should be continued for fever - a dose of 120 mg per dose every 4 hourly given to break the fever - number of doses not to exceed 5 in 24 hours. If fever shoots up in between, just sponge the baby head to toe normal temperature tap water, to bring the fever down.
Next Steps
Keep the baby well hydrated - plenty of fluids in any form - milk, water, ORS, coconut water, soup, watery khitchri etc, Fruits are excellent to build immunity, appetite, replenish electrolytes
Health Tips
SGOT is a little high - watch for any evidence of jaundice ( yellow discolored urine/ conjunctiva). Do monitor the baby’s weight afterwards and build up the hemoglobin afterwards. This becomes important to build the immunity

Antibiotics need time to act. You will not see a dramatic improvement after single dose of taxim -0 ...if there are no other alarming symptoms,if he takes food thoroughly,if he is very active during fever free period ,if he pass urine well ,you can wait for 1 more day....
Next Steps
otherwise you can consult your doctor again and review
