Your description of the fever suggests that it is mostly a viral fever. Antibiotics will not work. The fever is expected to come and go for the next 3 to 4 days. Continue with crocin. Meftal-P to be used in between only if fever is still very high. Ensure that she is drinking plenty of water. Do tepid sponging if fever persists 30 mins after giving crocin. Do not over clothe when fever is present.
Next Steps
If fever continues after 3 to 4 days or child becomes less playful, then she will probably need a few blood tests like CBC and CRP to rule out a bacterial infection.
