Hi,my son is 14 year old having 104 degrees fever, with vomiting and cough, what medicine should I give.I am giving him Meftal P , with which the fever comes down, should I start on an antibiotic ?

The child has high fever inspite of Meftal p. Did you get him examined by a pediatrician? If not please do. Before starting any antibiotics please do a complete blood count. Based on that we can come to a conclusion as to whether it's viral or bacterial. Take the reports to your pediatrician and let the doctor take a call on whether he requires antibiotics or not.
