Fever from yesterday night
My daughter age is 2yrs wt 10.7kgs, From yesterday night fever.. after giving P 250 reducing fever, again after 6hrs fever starts... with syrup fever subsides... No cold & cough.. Can we give meftal p ?

Good evening Viral fever last for 3-4 days Nothing to worry You continue to give calpol 3ml every 6hours Yes, you can add syrup meftal p 4 ml q8h for 2days. If fever does not subsides in 3-4 days. Kindly book an online appointment with me for further management. Take care!

Every time she has fever,kindly do tepid sponging with lukewarm water as well to reduce fever

You can use meftal p only if temperature is not controlled with p250 or if temperature is greater than 102 F

No need as fever comes down with P250. Both P250 and Meftal are for temporary relief of fever till the body takes care of the infection. No need to worry if she is active and eating.
