As the fever is of just 3 days along cold and cough, it is very likely to be a viral infection. It will take 5-6 days to resolve.  You should continue giving paracetamol instead of meftal p as it can worsen the ongoing congestion.  If fever persist for more than 4 days than you have to consult the doctor again.
Next Steps
you can also give Syp Allegra 2.5 ml twice daily for 3 more days.
Health Tips
If fever does not respond properly to paracetamol than you can do cold sponging with tap water.
