  4. Fever for 2 days. Can we give him?

Fever for 2 days
My son has a high fever for 2 days and we are giving him paracetamol liquid continuously. Now what antibiotics can we give him?

Please don't start antibiotics on your own For now continue with Paracetamol, for his mentioned weight and age(9 years, 32kg) 500mg tablet would be better than syrup. As you'll have to give almost 10ml of Syrup(250mg/5ml)
Next Steps
if fever persists, then day after tomorrow you can get blood tests done after physical consultation - it's important to know cause of fever - usually it'll be viral which won't need antibiotics

Paracetamol can be given 6th hourly during fever spikes, do tepid sponging along with Paracetamol Give plenty of oral fluids
