Fever for 15+ days
My cousin is suffering from persistent fever, that comes only during evenings and nights with temperature 100-103 F for last
18 days. Initially 3 days, he got some rashes in hands and later it was healed. Our doctor took various tests and the observation is high Sgot & Sgpt from Lft and mild pus in urine. Wbc, rec & platelets are normal with CRP 5. CT chest with results normal & mild inflammation in liver from untrasonic abdominal scan. Tested negative for scrub typus, Leptospirosis, dengue, malaria & Typhoid. He mentioned that there is nothing to worry and fever will be settled in few days. He's been given paracetamol & IV these days.
But I am completely worried and not sure if I have to go for second opinion.
