Fever and cough
My 8 month baby having temperature in the range of 98 to 100 Fahrenheit from tuesday. I have consulted with a paediatrician and he gave paracetamol drops and phenylephrine hydrochloride & chlorpheniramine maleate oral drops for cough. But her condition remains the same. She is not that much active and sometimes refuse to feed, sometimes wakes up during her sleep in night.

I understand ur concern as a mother and will definitely try and help u out at this time of the hour. Do not worry. But for that to happen in a proper manner i need few more details regarding ur baby. What is the exact weight of the baby?? Since fever is there from Tuesday , has it increase in intensity or decreased (inspite of giving medicines) ??? Does the child have redness of eyes or eye discharge or a skin rash along with all these???
Next Steps
Have u done any blood tests or chest X-ray for the baby because of cough and fever??? Kindly consult if u need further help so we can tackle this worrying problem of urs together in much better approach. The medicines prescribed is for the effect of infection let’s try and analyse the cause of this problem.
