Fever after vaccination + loose motion
My son is 4 months old. After vaccination along with fever, he is suffering from loose motion( green watery poop 3 times from morning) also. Can I give Sacrolyte along with calpol

4month child can do mother milk feeding more number for times than usual so as to keep him hydrated. it is just a body response to pain followed by vaccination or a viral infection. for fever u can take paracetamol dose to be decided after checking weight.

u can take paracetamol and do temperature monitoring. syrup zinc 20mg/5ml give 2.5ml orally for 14days. consult doctor for proper dosage and examination

Don't give sacrolyte. 3-6 times stools are normal.
Your baby is 4 months old. Just continue breastfeeding.
for pain associated with vaccination, you can give Drops Paracetamol(100mg/ml) 0.6 ml three times a day for 3 days.
