  4. Fever 99 to 101. Plz suggest that to do.

Fever 99 to 101
Hi doctor my son is having fever between 99 to 101 degree from yesterday evening is this a viral fever. We came from hometown yesterday done RTPCR 72 hour before it was negative. Is this a viral fever or something serious . We have a history of covid 3 month ago including son. Plz suggest that to do.

It can be viral or bacterial infection. If viral, it usually subsides in two or three days. If nit subsided by then, you will have to do blood and urine tests to rule out bacterial infection
