Fever 99. 5 to 100.2

Asked for Female, 32 Years

My son is 5 years 3 months old. From today morning his body temperature is running between 99.5 to 100.2. It's automatically coming down and going up. He does not have any other problem. No cough or cold. He is playful. Feeding normal. He is approx 18 kg. Needs to give medicine? Weather is 37 celcious.

Hi. Please monitor your child's temperature. If axillary temperature raises above 99 degrees, give Syp Paracetamol (240mg/5ml) 5ml.

If any other symptom develops, do consult.

Don't repeat Paracetamol doses before 5 hrs. In case fever develops within 5 hrs, Sponging with tap water should be done.

Hello, please give syp p250 5.4ml every 6th hourly if temp is above 99 f. for 2 days. If fever persists or increases or activity / feeding reduce do a video consultation for further treatment.
