  4. Fever 102 and above. And how much?

Fever 102 and above
Kid is having fever 102...age is 1.5 years... weight 11kg... Can we give meftal-p and how much??? We are giving babygesic 1.6ml but it seems not coming down

Meftal is stronger drug then crocin (paracetamol) so be cautious and if requires then dose for your kid shall be 2.5 ml on sos basis

Give plain paracetamol.  Syrup crocin/ calpol(120mg/5ml) 6.5 ml every 6 hourly. Inadequate dosage us the most common cause if fever not subsiding. Also do tepid sponging frequently.
