Hello dr,I'm 6 weeks pregnant, I visited gynae a weak ago ,she did internal scan ,and said that there is no heart beat in fetus,and told to visit again after 8 th week? Is it normal?my baby's crl is 7 mm.

The heartbeat appears at 7 weeks
so if an internal scan was done at 5 weeks we do not expect a heartbeat

ideally we can wait for 2 more weeks for the heartbeat to come …before arriving into a conclusion..take progestrones
