Fetal heartbeat 191bpm
I had my scan at 9 weeks and 4 days and the fetal heartbeat was 191bpm. I had a fever and loose motion a few days before the scan. Is 191bpm normal or elevated?

Fhr in early pregnancy can fluctuate and can show sometimes the heart rate as above. Like how adult heart rate can vary during the day, fetal heart rate can vary depending on movements. If no fever and no infection at time of scan done , then Please don't worry.  Have plenty of oral fluids and do breathing exercise to regularise/steady your heart rate . Till 11-12 weeks placenta formation, fetus will be directly dependant on maternal well being
Next Steps
consult obstetrician
Health Tips
NT scan as adviced All antenatal blood tests.
