Ferritin, Hb and Serum Iron levels in CD
I have ileocolitis.
Here are my test reports
Ferritin 39.3 ng/ml [ 10 - 291]
Serum Iron 191.8 ng/dl [ 60-160 MALE]
Haemoglobin 15.2 gms% [ 13 - 16]
Why is my serum iron very high and my ferritin values low.
Am I anemic???
My doctor's appointment is next week, so if someone can through some light I'd be grateful.
