Low Ferritin Level and Low Haemoglobin

Asked for Male, 45 Years

Recently I Have Done some tests. All are Ok including USG Whole abdomen, but my Ferritin level is 8 and Haemoglobin is 12.3. TIBC normal. Stool occult blood test Negative. Colonoscopy done and Colonic Diverticulum detected. LFT, KFT, TSH normal. Any suggestions and medication for Very Low Ferritin Level and Low Haemoglobin and Low MCV, MCHC please. Any suggestions for low Ferritin, Low Haemoglobin, kindly.

Hemoglobin of 12.3 is normal and low Ferritin levels means your iron consumption in diet is less. Consume iron rich foods like dates, green leafy vegetables, olives and drumstick. For the diverticulum, avoid constipation by taking good amount of water and fibre everyday.
