Ferium xt plus cause of constipation
We have started ferium xt plus for 1 year 1 month old baby her weight is 7.4 ans Hemoglobin is 10.6.She started constipation issue after starting ferium . Can we stop it and give her natural sources of iron

U can start with syrups hving lesser elemental iron...give iron with fruit juice...lot of dates and other iron rich foods...deworming
7.4 hb is something that needs treatment urgently andd can be delayed

You can try but with natural sources it’s going to take a very long time for haemoglobin to come to normal. I would suggest to start with decrease the dose and may be you can give medicines alternate days or with a gap of two to three days
